Photographs from the archives of Lynne Jane Nicols Dawson
This collection brings together the film photography of my late mother, Lynne, spanning the 1970s through the 1990s. Each image has been carefully scanned and preserved from her original prints.
Though photography was her hobby, her eye for landscapes, light, and quiet details reflected a natural artistry. As I discovered her archives, I was struck by how often her perspective mirrored my own—our lenses drawn to similar scenes, angles, and fleeting moments.
Her greatest joy was her family, and many of her photographs capture the everyday beauty of our lives together. This page is both a dedication to her and a celebration of the legacy she left us: a reminder to find beauty in the moments we’re given.
